AQ costs $100 per user per month. That is promotional launch pricing: the standard price is $200 per user per month. Every seat starts with a 14-day trial, and every seat includes the full product. There are no feature tiers to decode.
What's included in every seat
- Multiplayer workspaces. Every task runs in its own isolated git worktree, and every teammate can open the same workspace: same live terminal, same code editor, same preview.
- Every agent CLI. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, Kimi, Grok, and plain shells, running as real CLIs in persistent sessions that survive a closed laptop.
- Live previews with comments. Each workspace can run its dev server and share the preview by link, including guest links for people outside the team. Comments pinned on the preview (with screenshots) can be sent straight to the agent as prompts.
- Linear and GitHub integration. Label a Linear issue
ai-taskand a workspace appears for the team, with status syncing both ways. Agents commit, push, and open PRs with each user's own GitHub access, and AQ tracks every PR per workspace. - Your own infrastructure. Agents run on a VM you control. Your code and your credentials stay in your cloud.
How is model usage billed?
It isn't, by us. Your team signs into the agent CLIs with your own accounts (your Claude subscription, your OpenAI plan). AQ does not sit between you and the model, and it does not mark up your usage. The seat price is the whole price.
Where do the agents run?
Two options, same product:

Why is the price promotional?
AQ is early and moving fast, and early teams shape the product. The promotional rate is how we say thanks for that: half the standard price while we build the platform out in the open, shipping daily (see the changelog).

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every seat starts with a 14-day trial, so your whole team can work in AQ before paying anything.
What counts as a seat?
A person who signs into AQ: engineers running agents, and PMs or designers who join workspaces, comment on previews, and steer work. If they log in, they are a seat.
Do I need my own Claude or OpenAI subscription?
Yes. Each teammate connects the agent CLIs with their own accounts. That keeps you in control of model spend, and it means AQ never marks up your usage.
Does AQ run in our cloud?
Yes, either way you choose. The paid plan includes a dedicated AQ-managed VM in its own isolated network, provisioned automatically. Prefer full custody? Bring your own VM and everything (code, worktrees, agent sessions, CLI credentials) runs on infrastructure you control.
